There’s no debate that Tom Brady is one of the greatest, if not the single greatest quarterback in NFL history.

He has seven Super Bowl wins, has been named the league MVP three different times,

And had never missed the playoffs as a full-time starter – until this season.

As Tampa Bay Buccaneers reporter Joey Knight of the Tampa Bay Times points out,

Tom Brady has just finished the regular season with a losing record for the time

In his entire career as a starter after the Buccaneers fell to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday afternoon.

“Tom Brady will finish the regular season with a losing record (8-9) for the first time in his 22 seasons as an NFL starter,”

Knight said in a tweet on Sunday afternoon.

It’s a pretty wild fact, considering how long Brady has been in the league,

And the NFL world had plenty to say about it on Twitter.
